I’m a Coffee Pro – too!
Previous 11+ years I have been working with coffee. Specialty Coffee, to be more precise. I started as a barista and becoming Barista Trainer and Roaster soon after. My Last 9 years I’ve been training baristas, and managing coffee roasting and production in several companies (note for geeks: roast profile development and roast & brew recipe development, etc.), also quality control and quality management.
Last 3,5 years I was living in Riga, Latvia and building, with couple of local guys, roastery/coffee shop RBR as a co-owner and manager of coffee and production. Then suddenly I decided to quit the project.
Now I offer Roasting: skills-building-workshops, coaching and helping to start the coffee production/roasting for micro-Specialty Coffee-roasteries.
In 2010 I wrote a 35-page article about coffee species and varieties. It’s shared all free in here: Genus Coffea.
